The following is a list of players who have Duke on their list of
potential college destinations. The high school class of 2004 is
considered to be one of the best ever, and this couldn't come at a better
time for Duke, considering that Alana Beard, Iciss Tillis and Vicki
Krapohl will all be graduating. Obviously, all of the information as to
what schools a player is interested in can change rather quickly and I
will update the list from time to time. Duke will be looking to get
versatile forwards and slashing guards in this class, with the possibility
of a point guard as well. Look for Duke to take three or four players
from this class. Note that some of the links overlap due to mention of
several players in one article.
For reference, AGS is All-Game Sports and BS is Blue Star, another
girls' basketball recruiting service. At times, their rankings differ
sharply, so bear that in mind. Please note that all information has been
culled from assorted sites across the web; I have had no contact with the
players themselves nor do I rank them, nor do I assess their potential
importance to the program. Also note that the schools listed are
given by the players themselves and may not bear any resemblance to
the recruits that a school has in mind. Special thanks to Barry Uhrman
for suggestions and advice, and to Sybil Marshall, for her fantastic web page that
gave me the start for a lot of this stuff. Rankings, stats and
links are presented where available.
