Recruiting is a highly unpredictable business. One kid we heard about wanted
to go to a school but turned it down because his number had been retired by
another player. Now for a most interesting development: current
Illini assistant, and former Manual (Peoria) head coach Wayne
McClain looks likely to return to his old job. This is significant
because McClain has been handling Illinois' recruitment of Shaun
Livingston. That's a variable/wild card we can't even begin to sort out.
