In an NBA crime update, Jerry Stackhouse says that his arrest was because
of a misunderstanding. Based on what little we read about it, we'd be
inclined to believe him, but he still should have left. A deal's a deal, and the guy who should have had the house is understandably upset.
In other news, Chris
Webber plea-bargained his way out of jail time in the Michigan Fab Five
mess. Webber was forced to admit he lied when he said he "didn't
remember" giving Michigan booster Ed Nelson $38,200 dollars.
Duke was very much in it for Chris Webber, and in retrospect, what a good
thing he went to Michigan.
