The consensus seems to be that expansion now is a fait accompli, but there
are a couple of potential snags: first, the newbies want to come a year early,
which means a lot of work for the accountants. Apparently they don't want
to trip around the Big East as lame duck schools. And second, the football
schools - the remaining ones - are about to sue, but it's not clear whether that
means the Big East three or the ACC. Links below.
