Duke President Nan Keohane has said she won't support expansion as it currently is
planned, and UNC Chancellor James Moeser has reached the same conclusion.
So while the teleconference on ACC expansion is scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday,
there's no guarantee a vote will take place, and one more no vote - Virginia? -
would kill it.
Both Keohane and Moeser are concerned about travel and how divisions would
shake out. So it's off to high noon! Well, high late afternoon,
anyway. It's certainly going to be an interesting day.
