WeÂre excited to tell you about a new venture that allows you to purchase some of the coolest Duke photographs right from your computer. The company is called Replay Photos and was founded by a dear friend and former womenÂs basketball standout, Sue Harnett. Sue was able to negotiate an exclusive licensing agreement with Duke for all of the photography the University owns. Needless to say, itÂs a massive collection of some spectacular images over the decades, many of which have been stored away in the University Archives for years.
The photographs encompass such things as WWII soldiers on DukeÂs campus, the magnificent Duke gardens, athletic highlights for both menÂs and womenÂs teams, and the famous gargoyles perched around campus. The site will be updated on a continuous basis. Duke receives a portion of the sales, so the University benefits as well.
These very high-quality photographs make magnificent gifts. ItÂs really a wonderful concept, and one that Sue is working to expand to other universities as well.
