The Official Women's All-ACC Teams

First Team

Alana Beard, Duke (50) 150
Iciss Tillis, Duke (47) 147
Coretta Brown, North Carolina (45) 144
Chrissy Floyd, Clemson (38) 135
Sonja Mallory, Georgia Tech (35) 128

(Comment: Same as my top five. Beard was the only unanimous pick.)

Second Team

Renneika Razor, Maryland (10) 97
Kaayla Chones, NC State (8) 91
Nikita Bell, North Carolina (6) 85
Brandi Teamer, Virginia (3) 81
Cherrise Graham, Virginia (1) 64
Tasheika Morris, Florida State 64

(Comment: Bell was WAY overrated here, especially with an inexplicable 6
first place votes. Chones was also overrated a bit. Stokes was
underrated.)

Third Team

Fallon Stokes, Georgia Tech (1) 61
Tiffani Listenbee, Wake Forest (1) 53
Candace Sutton, North Carolina 41
Alex Stewart, Georgia Tech 32
Vicki Krapohl, Duke (1) 24

(Comment: I have no problem with Stewart making the team; she and Blue
were neck and neck by my reckoning. However, I am absolutely baffled at
Sutton's inclusion here. If they wanted to pick another UNC player, how
about Leah Metcalf, who put up superior numbers across the board? It's
nice to see Vicki recognized for her hard work and sharpshooting
abilities.)

Honorable Mention

La'Tangela Atkinson, North Carolina 23
Carisse Moody, NC State 18
LaTonya Blue, Virginia 17

All-Freshmen

La'Tangela Atkinson, North Carolina 49
Cotelia Bond-Young, Wake Forest 41
Mistie Bass, Duke 31
Chrissy Fisher, Maryland 31
Lindsey Harding, Duke 30
Amanda White, Clemson 30

(Comment: No arguments here. Nice to see Mistie included as well.)

Honorable Mention

Kasha Terry, Georgia Tech 12
Ganiyat Adeduntan, Florida State 10

All-Defensive Team

Alana Beard, Duke
Nikita Bell, North Carolina
Tiffani Listenbee, Wake Forest
Sonja Mallory, Georgia Tech
Renneika Razor, Maryland

(Comment: How on earth did they leave off Tillis and replace her with
Listenbee? Also, Bell is not the lockdown defender that LaQuinta Neely
is.)
