As we've said repeatedly, we only go into politics here when the Basketball Ticket is available for an endorsement. So we can endorse both Barry Jacobs and Richie Farmer. However, when a reader of this site runs for office, while we don't necessarily endorse that reader, we do like to pass it on and celebrate. So here is Bill Lee, long-time reader and DBR supporter, who is running for Governor of Delaware. Plus some of you were likely classmates.
On Tuesday, November 11th, join Bill Lee as he officially kicks off his 2004
campaign for Governor!
We will be making four different stops, hitting all three counties and
joining friends and supporters along the way:
10:00am Dover, on the steps of the Old State House, on The Green 12:00pm
Wilmington, in Rodney Square 1:30pm Middletown, at Everett Middle School
4:00pm Georgetown, in The Circle
There are three ways you can participate in this event:
1. Make plans to attend Bill's announcement speech in your county.
2. Sign up to be an "announcement day volunteer" and help us spread the
word.
3. Or, ride along with Bill, and be a part of each stop!
We have buses starting in Sussex County, and in Wilmington, and a pick
up/drop off in Dover.
Ride one of the campaign buses and be there at each stop to cheer for Bill
and to show the news media that Bill Lee has the support of people like you.
There is no charge to ride the bus and breakfast, lunch, and light snacks
will be provided.
