In ACC news, Clemson had an easy debut under Oliver Purnell, rolling
over Gardner-Webb, 86-55. And as you might expect, State
thumped Asheville. Wake gets
Elon today, but possibly without
Vytas Danelius, who sprained his ankle.
Tonight,
UNC debuts under Roy Williams. A brief, heretical thought: what would
happen if they lost? Don't get us wrong, we don't expect it...but what if
they did? Man, would that be deflating. Apparently, ODU
thinks they are a program on the rise. We'll see soon enough.
