happened to Virginia last season - in a nutshell, the team all but
disintegrated, with serious discipline problems. Gillen thinks the bad
elements are gone now, so good luck.
Incidentally, Jay Bilas is quoted in this article. That's not
exceptional, and that's the point: it's starting to get really hard to find an
article where he's not quoted as an authority on college basketball.
Jay's opinion has become really important to a lot of people, and not only is
that very cool, but it's also quite an accomplishment. Not many
broadcasters are sought out for opinions like he is these days.
