Have you ever noticed how Dick Vitale always bends over backwards to defend coaches? He's done it for Tark, Crum, Huggins, Knight, and pretty much everyone this side of Todd Bozeman. So like the dog that didn't bark for Sherlock Holmes, what's interesting here is what Vitale doesn't say. This isn't exactly a vote of confidence.
