After last year's riot, the University System of Maryland's Board of Regents has finally stepped up and taken some action, and good for them, but why did it take so long? Maryland fans and students have often taken pride in the violent behavior and glorified the intimidation of other schools fans and even celebrated the assault on Mrs. Boozer.
Offending students will be kicked out for a year, though some members pushed for three.
