Lakers Do It Again

Coulda-been-Devil Kobe Bryant won
his third NBA title last night,
along with big man Shaq and UNC grad Rick
Fox. It's hard to imagine what might have happened had Kobe come to Duke,
but it's fun to think about, if pointless. Since he's still what, 23?
24? There's still a lot of potential titles left for Kobe, because a team
could be built around him for years. The Lakers could go on for a
few years as they are now, and if Mitch Kupchak can give Phil Jackson the
players to work with, a smaller, fleeter team could run the Triangle until
Kobe's 35 or 36.
