Here's a really very fine piece on Luol Dengby the News & Observer's Luciana Chavez. There are some interesting details here, like the history of Deng's family and their involvement in the war in the Sudan. His father advises the resistance, and Luol says that he would like to make a difference at home someday. We also didn't know that the Deng's were Dinkas, which is also Manute Bol's tribe, and Luol 's brothers first learned the game from Manute himself, and they taught Luol. This is a really, really nice feature on a recruit. Make him welcome at the Blue-White game!
