The latest Business Week rankings of top business schools in the United States came out early this evening, and Fuqua got the #9 spot. That's a drop from #5 but still pretty darn good. Business Week noted that Fuqua students were the "most improved" according to corporate recruiters. Fuqua also got rave reviews from students but got dinged for some weaknesses in core courses. Northwestern got the top spot, followed by Chicago, Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton.
Better news, however, is not far behind. Tomorrow, the Financial Times will announce that Fuqua's executive education program is #6 in the world. But on Monday comes the best news. The Economist will issue its ranking of business schools around the globe. That august publication will name Fuqua the third best business school in the world. Not too shabby.
