Some people are catching on to
what Shane Battier has been doing, and what the guys who were drafted ahead
of him are doing - in a nuthshell, not very much. Shane by contrast is
getting at least some support for the All-Star game. You have to wonder
what Michael Jordan is thinking, with Kwame Brown so far useless and Battier
tearing it up. This writer thinks with Battier, Washington might have pushed for
the Finals. Maybe, maybe not. But we're pretty sure Battier would
have loved being in D.C. for the networking prospects alone.
