Here's a glance at Duke's recruits for next year, who are all doing
rather well. First off, Barry Uhrman notes that two Duke women's recruits
are members of USA Today's Top 25 teams. Mistie Bass, of 19th-ranked Parker
High School, averaged 18 points, 13.5 rebounds and 6.5 blocks in two games
last week. Brooke Smith, of 23rd ranked Marin Catholic High School,
averaged 18.5 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and five steals in two games
last week. Both are 6-2 post players who are ranked in the top ten recruits
by All-Star Girl's Report. Here's that
