According to Christoph Guttentag, Duke's head of admissions, Shelden Williams will
be required to explain whatever happened during his team's trip to Columbus. Any prospective student is
required to update his application whenever legal problems arise or he/she is
suspended from school.
Guttentag is not allowed to discuss privacy issues, which is appropriate, but
he does say that a wide range of actions, up to and including withdrawing
admission. As of now, exactly what happened is still murky, but as you
know by now, a woman filed a complaint with the police alleging she was sexually
assaulted by members of Shelden Williams' high school team.
