The Duke women play Virginia this Sunday at 1:00pm in Cameron. The game
will be televised on ESPN2. This is the first game at home for Duke
since the students got back and since it's a TV game it's crucial that
there be a good crowd. Virginia is a very young team that has recently
scored some big victories over NC State and Maryland, and will be looking
to avenge an earlier beating by Duke. Come on out!
At halftime of this game, the first five women's inductees to the new
Hall of Honor will be celebrated. They include Chris
Moreland, Sue Harnett, Katie Meier (currently the coach of Charlotte),
Michele Van Gorp and Georgia Schweitzer.
