We received this e-mail from Joanna Buck of Skadden Arps who is organizing a Duke/Maryland game watching party in Sydney and asked us to post it:
The majority of Duke fans in Australia probably do not know that the Duke-Maryland game is being shown in Australia on the Optus Cable Network / ESPN International at 3 a.m. Friday night / Saturday morning (about 12 hours after the game actually finishes!) Unfortunately most people don't have access to Optus cable. However, I have found a bar in Sydney (Cheers, downtown at 561 George Street) that has Optus cable and is in fact open until 5:30 in the morning. I called them and they said if I show up, they will put on the game. I have also called Optus to confirm the game is being shown. So, if anyone else is crazy enough to (1) not look at the score for 12 hours and (2) go to a bar at 3 a.m. to watch the game, please, please call me on 0412-033-923. I would love some company!
