Alana
Beard has won her 4th ACC Player of the Week Award of the year, 5th overall,
and 2nd in a row. That's pretty impressive. Congrats to Alana. For
the season, Beard leads the ACC in scoring (19.0), field goal percentage (.587)
and steals (3.71), while ranking second in assists (5.71), eighth in rebounding
(6.5), ninth in free throw percentage (.734) and third in assist/turnover ratio
(1.76). In ACC games alone, her 21.8 scoring average and .630 field goal
percentage against ACC opponents also leads the league.
