The Chronicle, 6-3 center Brooke Smith will be visiting
this weekend, along with already-committed point guard Lindsey Harding.
Smith is down to Stanford and Duke as her choices, and she may well make
a decision right after her visit. Smith averaged 17.4 ppg last year and
is a true center prospect who can also step outside and hit the jumper.
While I'm at it, here's an updated list of players Duke is still
considering. Note that the list will change radically if Smith commits.
In addition to getting one or two frontcourt players, Duke is also
looking for a shooting guard.
