Duke and Maryland fans haven't had much to agree on lately, but we're glad Boomer Esiason is ok, and we're sure they're glad that Tommy Amaker's sister Tami is fine.
Amaker is the executive director of the Boomer Esiason Foundation, which was formerly headquartered in the World Trade Center.
Amaker, Esiason said, is usually at her desk at 8:00 a.m. sharp, but on this particular day, she was at a new office. Apparently one of her cards came floating out of the sky - three days after the attack.
Esiason lost an enormous number of friends in the attack -- about 150. That's incredibly painful to hear. None of his full-time employees were in the building at the time.
