Mike Brey has shocked the recruiting world and has garnered
a commitment from Torin Francis. We had heard that he would be picking BC,
but we're delighted that it's Notre Dame. Go Mike, go!
While we understand that Skip Bayless has moved on and is no longer with the
Trib, his column suggesting that
Brey was a mediocrity who was destined to fail is still there.
We promised at the time that we
wouldn't let him forget it, and we won't. It was an incredibly
uninformed and mindless column, and when Brey really gets it going there, we
hope Bayless will pen an apology.
