Barry Jacobs has a long and interesting article up on the
All-Star game and what Duke basketball has come to mean. There are a
lot of great tidbits in here, including, of course, the rivalry with UNC and the
inane suggestion that George Karl won't suffer a Dukie on his team. What a
moron. On the other hand, it means Jason Williams won't have to play for a
pinhead in the NBA, so maybe it's a plus.
We're also glad to see Grant Hill suggest that perhaps Coach K has not sent
as many players into the NBA but that he has done more with less. Which is to
say that he could have probably done it Dean's way, but Dean could not do it K's
way.
