The US Women's Junior World Championship team whipped China in the third
round-robin game, giving them a berth in Sunday's gold medal game, a
rematch against Brazil. Alana Beard had 16 points (on 7-10 shooting), 4
rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks and a steal. Monique Curry scored 11
points in just ten minutes of play. Wynter Whitley had 2 points and 3
rebounds.
