Good ol' Marty Blake. You can always count on him for
a curmudgeonly response to the guys who are interested in leaving early. Ned
Barnett had an article in the N&O Friday which basically recounts his
position, which, traditionally, is "get an education you idiot, you're not
ready." It's refreshing to hear him talk about players. Damien
Wilkins? Delusional. Shavlik Randolph? Who? That doesn't happen very often with
Shavlik, and it will happen much less often as time goes on.
Turns out he is quite impressed with Damon Thornton and Kenny Inge.
