Wizards Want To Re-sign Laettner

Looks like the Wizards would
like to keep Christian Laettner if they can work it out.  A free agent,
we remember the Lakers were really after him, and they might still be
interested. We could see him doing well there.  Apparently a number of
playoff teams are after him, and we remember watching him with the Hawks, and
seeing that look, that passion, return.  For his sake, we hope he goes to a
team which is winning, so that he can relight that fire.
