We join with others in saying goodbye to singer Perry Como, who died yesterday at the age of 88. In addition to his remarkable singing career, he was synonymous with the Duke Children's Hospital. He was the founding chairman of the Duke Children's Classic and served in that role for over two decades. Everyone who dealt with him mentions what a warm and genuine person he was both on and off the stage. He will be missed by all, especially those at Duke.
