Maryland's Byron Mouton has suffered a devastating loss - his
brother was shot to death in Houston. He has understandably taken an indefinite leave of
absence from the team.
Needless to say, this is a horrible thing for anyone to
go through, and it's one of those times when you put rivalries and petty
concerns aside and just send all good wishes to someone whose life has been
shattered. In that spirit, we'd like to ask everyone to
drop assistant Coach Dave Dickerson a line and offer Byron some Blue Devil support and ask him to get it to him whenever it's appropriate to do so. Things have been heated with Maryland lately, but it's never so hot that we can't sympathize with a loss of this magnitude.
