From the mailbag!
Hi Guys!
I love the site! The first thing I do in the morning is turn on my computer, check email, IM, and DBR :)
Anyway, I go to Maryland, but I bleed blue - so this weekend I took a break from studying for finals and went to see Lee Melchionni play at American U! I only got to see the 3rd place game of the Gonzaga/DC Classic, but I was just excited to get to see one of the Super 6! Lee had a pretty good game and led scores for Germantown Academy with 15 points. He and fellow teammate Matt Walsh(who is committed to Florida) were selected to the All-Tournament Team. I didn't really know what to expect going in (I also had forgotten how different high school ball is to college) - but Lee moved really well with the ball and his shooting is pretty good. He played the whole game and looked pretty tired towards the end. He was a lot of fun to watch and I'm excited to see what Coach K can/will do with him. The only things that I could see him needing great improvement were ball handling and movement away from the ball. But I'm sure this will not be a problem! I just wanted to report in - thank you so much for running such an amazing site, it's hard being a Duke fan here in College Park, but I know I can always count on the DBR for keeping me updated!
go duke,
Katie
