UNC kicked off
Midnight Madness last night in Chapel Hill, and before the game, Matt
Doherty's heart raced as Julius Peppers dropped off a note suggesting
he is reconsidering basketball. It probably won't be the same though,
as Peppers has considerably bulked up and won't be in the kind of basketball
condition he needs to be in to be highly effective.
But it's still exciting for UNC fans. Â Ron Curry is also coming
to grips with his future, but it's not as exciting as what Peppers is
looking at.
State has started up as well, and is hoping to
have a bit more luck this year, but they'll have a
young frontcourt to deal with.
