In this day and age of quick bucks and fast rides to the NBA, it's refreshing
to read about a kid who
is really interested in an education, and is willing to go to college first
for school. At Duke we've been spoiled that way to an extent, but not everywhere
else. So the case of Yale's recruits, Edwin Draughan,
who points out that three of the last four presidents spent time at Yale, is
heartening.
We may hear from him down the road, not necessarily in politics, but perhaps in
some other walk of life. Nice read.
