Barry Jacobs has an interesting article up on perceptions
of coaches by fans and the media, and how Paul Hewitt and Matt Doherty are
getting a vastly different reception than Herb Sendek and Steve Robinson. We'll
be the first to admit inconsistency on this front. We think both of the
latter coaches are smart and adept, yet both have failed to make significant
marks. As ACC fans, we want them both to succeed, and they haven't gotten
it going yet. We hope they do. We want all the ACC teams to be
really good.
