One of Duke's primary targets for next year is Shelden Williams of
Oklahoma. By all accounts a super talent, Williams is being avidly pursued
by just about everyone. Here's
an update on his performance in the Slam To The Beach Tournament. As
is so often the case, he is mentioning both Duke and UNC, but UNC would seem to
have Jawad Williams at that spot. However, the Dean Smith philosophy which saw
UNC rarely recruiting players for the same position has been largely junked in
recent years, so who knows.
