Here's
an interesting take on the Bob Knight situation which picks up on Jeremy
Schaap's attempted question of whether or not Knight's fall was a Greek tragedy
in the sense of a fatal flaw, not, as Knight turned the question, as devastating
as a death.
Knight's firing is reverberating in some unexpected ways. For instance, on
Atlantic Avenue in Raleigh at Mini-Storage, someone put a sign up saying
"Knight time is over." It's not amazing that a businessman in
Raleigh would feel so moved, but it is amazing that it is on a commercial sign.
