As anyone associated with the football program will tell you, the condition of Wallace Wade field is abominable. It's a major embarrassment to Duke, and other schools (along with our own Blue Devils) are concerned about even playing on it. There are a number of factors, such as overseeding and alterations for graduation ceremonies, and, unfortunately, there's not much that can be done to improve it this season. Our team deserves a lot better.
