The U.S. had a brief battle with the Chinese, but it didn't last long as the
U.S. pulled out and ran away, 119-72. The Chinese are an interesting
potential power. They have generated enough players recently to start thinking
bigger in basketball terms. Remember the kid who played at Utah a few years
ago? They are coming on and are an international team to keep an eye on
down the road. And with over half a billion men to draw on, finding and training
a few hundred to play basketball isn't really that huge of a challenge.
