The Bob Knight saga continues, and the loony fringe continues as well. The
deatht threats have gone from Murray Sperber to the Harvey kid and now to
Christopher Simpson. We lost respect for Simpson when he initially said
that Knight and Myles Brand were
not meeting only to later confirm that they had had what he said was a
terrific meeting. Knight calls him a "double agent." Now,
like Sperber, Brand, and Harvey, he is getting death threats. Whatever
else you want to say about this mess, there's no denying this: it's tapping into
some deep craziness.
Meanwhile, alumnit
donations are questionable, and Kent Harvey
is asking for his life back.
