Here's
a major rave on Shavlik Randolph, the super young player from Raleigh. Just
to be clear, this is a major rave. He could be the best player out
of Raleigh since Pistol Pete, who also played at Broughton until his dad moved
to Louisiana to coach LSU.
Eric, a UNC reader, got us on a fact check. Thanks Eric!
On today's story with the link to the Randolph rave you say:
He could be the best player out of Raleigh since Pistol Pete, who also
played at Broughton until his dad moved to Louisiana to coach LSU.
Didn't Pistol Pete leave Broughton and transfer to Daniel High in Central,
SC when Press took the Clemson job?
I could be wrong, but that's what I thought, anyway.
