Carl Franks continues to upgrade the football roster, persuading
three more recruits to choose Duke, most notably defensive back Alex Green of Hyattsville,
Maryland. He signed with Duke because he believes Carl Franks can get it
done. This kid is a good one and obviously he respects his future coach.
We think he's going to to an excellent job as well, and we encourage everyone,
particularly the students, to get out and be part of the building process.Â
At the very least you'll have a nice afternoon or evening outside, and as things
start to improve, you can say you were there before the fashionable crowd showed
up.
