I was speaking with Reece Edwards tonight, who along with Bob Harris will be
running this year's NC Sports Hall of Fame Banquet. As you know, Coach K is
one of seven inductees.
The public can attend. It's Wednesday, May 17 at the North Raleigh Hilton.
Social begins at 6:30pm, banquet at 7:30pm, and it's $45.
If anyone wants to go, mail a check payable to the North Carolina Sports
Hall of Fame to PO Box 33035, Raleigh, NC 27636. If they receive the check
by Friday, a ticket will be mailed. If not, a ticket will be held at the
door. But you might tell DBR readers (if indeed you want to put this up),
that they should be sure to get check in the mail to them no later than
Monday to ensure entry. I doubt tickets will be "sold" at the door.
