Gregg Doyel, normally a very steady writer, has done a couple of surprising
things lately: 1) wrote an article speculating Rick Rickert might commit
over this weekend, a notion which was pretty quickly refuted (though the weekend
obviously isn't over yet) when someone found out that Rickert was going to wait
to see who did and didn't go pro early before committing, and 2) suggesting that
Duke is interested in Dahntay Jones
just to keep Jason Williams around. Geez. From everything we've heard
the kid is pretty athletic and can play the game. Maybe that's why
Duke wants him. People have said a lot of things about Krzyzewski over the years
but that he kisses player butts isn't one you hear a whole lot.
