Piggie has copped a plea in Missouri, pleading guilty to "one felony count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and a misdemeanor count of failing to file a federal income tax
return," according to CBS Sportsline.
All other charges will be dropped. He faces a maximum of five years in
prison and a fine of 25,000 on the first charge and one year and up to 100,000
on the second. He has admitted to defrauding the four schools in question. Sentencing will be at a later date.
