IU Ass't - Knight Will Stay

Indiana assistant coach Mike Davis says that Bobby Knight will stay in his job based on the fact that Knight has not called a team meeting prior to the upcoming announcement. In that ESPN article, Andy Katz reports that it appears Indiana is headed toward a reprimand of Knight, including fines, a suspension, and apologies to those who bore the brunt of his verbal and physical assaults.

Meanwhile, Jay Bilas says Knight should stay but basically because, by refusing to act before this, Indiana allowed Knight to grow into a "sacred cow." Bilas does add, however, that Indiana must impose stringent restrictions on Knight's behavior and must make clear that the rules have changed and such behavior will no longer be tolerated.
