Clemson
has lost two straight recruits to Kentucky, which sucks if you are a Clemson
fan, but here's a better way to look at it: Clemson was the alternative for two
players to Kentucky. Love them or hate them, for Clemson to finish second to
Kentucky on recruits is a positive sign. How often does that happen? Well
besides Todd Tackett. Larry Shyatt is going toe-to-toe with a heavyweight
program and almost winning. It's winner-take-all of course, but still, it's
impressive.
Tech of course just got a recruit, 6-9 Robert Brook of Michigan, and this
weekend they have
two more big guys in town, Liberto "Gypsy" Tetimandingar,
and J.C. Mathis
