Corey Maggette is denying the charges
that Myron Piggie paid him 2,000 dollars.
Maggette said he hopes "[Duke doesn't] worry about it, but I know they
have reputation to [uphold]."
He also says that "this is just a shock to me that all this is coming
up," but it can't be that big a shock since the Grand Jury had been
investigating for some time, and since one of the charges against Piggie is wire
fraud because he talked to Maggette
over the phone about payments, we assume he was made aware of that before the
rest of us were.
