A couple of follow-up schedule notes: first, the Boston College series has not
actually been finalized, even though it was reported as a fait accompli.
Second, the Stanford game is in the Newell Classic, in Oakland, which is too
bad in a way because Duke should visit Stanford and Stanford should visit Duke. We would love to see what the Stanford crowd would be like and we think it would challenge the Duke crowd as well.
Third, our sources tell us that Duke is going to do an Iron Duke charter to
Portland and Oakland, playing Portland for Dunleavy's game, presumably,Â
in the Rose Garden, which is his home court more or less, then Stanford, then
back to Funky Town.
Fourth, the Michigan series will continue, which is great, and St. John's
will be back in Cameron not this coming season but the following one.
