A Note On Florida

Florida has run through the tournament, to paraphrase George C. Scott, like
gunk through a goose, but they have some advantages over the teams they have
played which may not be as significant tomorrow night, particularly in regards
to depth. Here are the teams with how many players got significant minutes:

  • Butler - 7
  • Illinois - 9
  • OSU - 7
  • Duke - 7
  • UNC - 6

You'll note that only  Illinois went 9 deep.

Michigan State had eight against Wisconsin, and they are a pretty athletic
bunch.  Also worth mentioning: when Kentucky last beat them (by 15), they matched their depth and controlled them. Should be interesting.

  • MSU  vs. Wisconsin - 8
