Wake and State faced off in the NIT and put on a pretty good ACC game for the
New York crowd, going into overtime before
Wake Forest could put State away. Thus ends Justin Gainey's
remarkable ACC career. Of all of the seniors, we probably respect Carrawell the
most, but Gainey isn't far behind. He was never supposed to be at this
level at all, and he has really handled himself well. We'll miss him.
Wake will play Matt Doherty's Notre Dame team in the finals. Go Deacs!
